ZWave Pro is a therapy that replaces manual massage after treatments such as CoolSculpting®, radiofrequency, and laser procedures. Manual massage can often cause patient discomfort, but ZWave Pro is very comfortable. This therapy mobilzes dead fat cells out of the treated area, and stimulates lymphatic drainage and bloodflow to treated areas to significantly enhance results.
The ZWave machine transmits powerful soundwaves into the skin with the use of a hand-held device. The soundwave energy penetrates the skin layers and spreads out radially, and the body responds with increased metabolic activity in the form of lymphatic drainage and increased blood circulation. The result is improved tone, texture, and appearance of the skin, as well as enhanced outcome and healing from body contouring treatments.
ZWave Pro treatments are non-invasive and comfortable, and there is no downtime. They can be performed on their own, but are most commonly done after a body contouring procedure. The device’s hand-held applicator will be directly applied to the skin in order to access the underlying tissue. Patients describe the feeling during treatment as a relaxing massage. Treatment time is typically 20 to 30 minutes. We recommend 6 to 10 ZWave Pro treatments for the best results.
