Excel V Vascular Laser

The Excel V laser uses a chill tip to rapidly cool the skin before the laser energy is delivered. This minimizes any discomfort and protects the skin. Most patients feel a slight stinging sensation briefly when the energy pulses are delivered.

There are few side effects with this treatment, although some patients may experience redness and minor swelling at the treatment site. This typically dissipates within a day.

The majority of patients find that visible bruises lighten several shades within minutes of treatment.

The number of treatments depends on the extent of bruising with larger darker bruises likely requiring several treatments. In many cases, patients see dramatic improvement after a single treatment, and many do not require repeat sessions. Patients may also use oral Arnica Montana and Bromelain if not contraindicated. In addition patients may benefit from topical use of Arnica + K Cream.
