This Breakthrough Procedure Allows HKPS to Provide its Patients Proven, Long-term Improvement in the Appearance of Cellulite
Sarasota, Florida—January 27, 2016—Holcomb – Kreithen Plastic Surgery and MedSpa, PLLC (“Holcomb – Kreithen”), one of the leading plastic surgery practices in Florida, is proud to announce that, starting Feb. 4, 2016, it will become the first provider in the Sarasota – Bradenton area (and one of the first in Florida) to offer the Cellfina™ System for treating cellulite.
Cellfina is the only FDA-cleared, minimally invasive procedure clinically proven to improve the appearance of cellulite for at least two years. In just one 45-minute treatment, Cellfina treats the primary structural cause of cellulite and leaves patients’ skin smoother and healthier—a look that will inspire them to wear bathing suits, shorts and higher hemlines with renewed confidence.
Cellfina combines a proven approach with innovative, proprietary technology to produce precise, long-lasting results. The Cellfina System treats the primary structural cause of cellulite—the connective bands woven throughout fat in the thighs and buttocks. These tight bands pull down the skin like a rubber band, creating the puckering seen on the surface of the skin. Cellfina selectively breaks up the problem-causing bands and, once released, the treated skin bounces back to smooth itself out.
Results can be seen in as little as three days, and Cellfina does not require an operating room or general anesthesia. It relies on a minimally invasive, small needle-sized device to treat the cellulite-causing bands just beneath the surface of the skin. Patients can often return to work and resume normal activities the next day after treatment.
Patients in a Cellfina clinical study showed significant improvement within three days after the treatment. Two years after treatment, 100 percent of Cellfina patients had noticeable improvement (based on the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS). The satisfaction rate of Cellfina patients has surpassed that of other leading cellulite treatments. These long-lasting results represent the longest FDA clearance for a cellulite treatment.
Holcomb – Kreithen practice co-founder, Dr. Joshua Kreithen, said, “It was our commitment to finding the most advanced and effective treatments for our patients that led us to Cellfina. Cellulite, which affects over 80% of women, has long been a complaint of many of our patients. It has been especially frustrating for women who are otherwise fit and active, yet still experience dimpling and waves. Cellfina is the first truly effective weapon in the ‘war on cellulite’ and we are pleased to be able to offer it to our patients before any other practice in west Florida. We expect to see a surge in demand for Cellfina in our market, and it will be an exciting addition to our line of best-in-industry treatments and procedures.”
